Sergeant Anthony proudly served in the US Army for almost nine years, including several tours of duty in Iraq. After suffering a traumatic brain injury, Anthony left the military, and was subsequently rated 100% service connected due to his extensive injuries. Needing additional income for his family, Anthony started working at his first post-service civilian job. He will soon be receiving social security disability pay, but in the meantime, he was unable to pay his mortgage. Referred to SALUTE, INC. by his Army Recovery care advisor, Anthony requested assistance with his housing costs. SALUTE was able to provide mortgage payments, providing stability for the family as they await his additional disability income.
“ I appreciate the financial help SALUTE provided for me and my family. I’m more able to focus on my mental health and start working on my career. “ Sgt. Anthony
