Proudly serving as a Naval Aircrewman (Tactical Helicopters) for over seven years, Robert sustained multiple injuries in an accident while in service. Transitioning to retirement from the Navy, he was looking for a new career while waiting on his service connection pay. Just like any of us, a few months without income left him in financial difficulties. Robert requested one-time financial assistance from SALUTE, and we were able to provide him with a mortgage payment, tiding him over until he found a new job.
