Captain Noelle enjoyed her career in the Army, serving for almost eight years before she became ill with severe flu-like symptoms. Unable to fulfill her job requirements, Noelle was forced to retire from service and then spent over a year consulting with doctors for a diagnosis of her illness. Once it was determined she was fighting Lyme disease, Noelle embarked on an exhausting regiment of medical treatments. Without an income and with mounting medical bills, Noelle applied to SALUTE for financial assistance. SALUTE came through with mortgage assistance, helping to relieve some of the stress that was keeping Noelle from concentrating on her health and recovery.
I want to say a huge thank you to SALUTE, INC. for helping me in my time of need. I contracted Lyme disease while in the Army at Fort Drum. I didn’t know it at the time. I became so sick that I had to leave the Army within the year. It took me over a year (which included five hospital stays and many doctors) before finding out what was wrong.
