Chrishelle K. retired from the Air Force after six years of service as a Medical Services Journeyman. Chrishelle is a 100% disabled veteran, due to traumatic brain injury and other injuries sustained during her time in the military. Overjoyed by the birth of her new baby, but concerned about the physical demands a new baby places on the family, she was hoping to move her family to Oklahoma so they could receive emotional and physical help from her relatives. SALUTE, INC. stepped in to help pay for a moving truck to facilitate the move. Chrishelle and her family have experienced a great reduction of stress since moving to their new home, and wrote to SALUTE that “our dreams are now a reality”.
