Army Sgt. Joe served during the OIF/OEF campaigns, both overseas and stateside. During his service, Joe suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury and a spinal injury, and due to his debilitating injuries, was medically retired from the Army. While it is important to focus on the sacrifice Joe made for our country, there is more to his story than just his immediate care. Joe’s wife, Jessica, also served our country as an Army reservist. Jessica worked full-time, and took care of Joe and their five children, ages 4-12. However, when Jessica lost her job unexpectedly, the family quickly reached a financial crisis.
They reached out to SALUTE, INC. for help with the critical, everyday bills such as rent, car payments and utilities. SALUTE was able to assist the family with those expenses, easing the financial stress for the family as Jessica searched for a new job.
