SALUTE, INC. saves military families from homelessness through rent and mortgage payments that prevent eviction or foreclosure.
Veterans are assisted with car payments and repairs allowing them to get to their jobs, the VA office, PTSD therapy and drive their kids to school.
SALUTE, INC. pays for grocery cards, diapers, clothing, daycare and uncovered medical bills.
Many utility bills are paid, so the lights are kept on, the water running, the trash collected and the home warm
SALUTE works individually with each veteran applicant to assess their current situation and determine how we might offer assistance. The most common requests are for help with housing, car, grocery and utility bills. However, sometimes the financial assistance is more specialized, e.g. an adaptive bike so the veteran can rehabilitate or compete, textbooks or tuition assistance to continue their education, or a laptop to facilitate a job search. SALUTE works one on one with every veteran applicant to meet their specific needs, tailoring our response so it will have the greatest impact on their lives.
